Half Marathon Training is here!!

So I have been very busy, and thus this poor blog was left unused. But I have decided to give it another try and track my half marathon training over the next six months!

In the last few months I have become a personal trainer, injured my knee, and started my own company! I have a lot more to come so just try and keep up!

March 2013 starts half marathon training, and I gave up pizza completely last spring. My loving and understanding husband begged and cried, for me to not do the same! So instead I created a reward system!

When I finish an entire week’s training, without missing or cutting short a session, I early one “dessert” coupon for myself to use. I did this because that was my problem last season was staying true to my training program and it undeniably showed in May.

2nd, no drive thru foods- granted this concept goes without saying, fried foods and running do not work together! So I figure this is an easy give up. I felt so much better when I was not eating it last year also.

So far that is all I am doing. I am sure I will adjust it as the first half marathon passes and we head into 2nd round of training.
